Dr. Neelofur Nazeer
Medical Director
Dr. Neelofur Nazeer is an accomplished Medical Director who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Apex Clinical Laboratories, LLC. She joined our team in February 2022, and has quickly become an invaluable asset to our organization.
Dr. Nazeer obtained her medical education from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. After completing her medical degree, she pursued an anatomic and clinical pathology residency from the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL. Following this, she went on to complete a surgical pathology fellowship from Rush Presbyterian – St. Luke’s Medical Center and the University of Chicago/Northshore University Health System, IL. She then completed a cytopathology fellowship from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Prior to joining Apex Clinical Laboratories, LLC, Dr. Nazeer worked at SLU Care Pathology Group in St. Louis, MO. During her time there, she gained extensive experience in diagnostic pathology, particularly in the fields of anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology.
Dr. Nazeer is a diplomate of The American Board of Pathology, certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She is committed to providing the highest level of quality care to our patients and healthcare providers, and she takes pride in her ability to provide accurate and timely diagnostic testing services.
In her spare time, Dr. Nazeer enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. She believes that taking care of one’s mental and physical health is just as important as taking care of one’s professional responsibilities, and she encourages her colleagues and patients to prioritize self-care and wellness.
